The situation

The real workflow lives across spreadsheets, inboxes, and people's memory. Every handoff creates another place for work to disappear.

Teams rarely ask for a new tool. They ask for the work to stop falling between the ones they already have. We start by following a single job from the moment it arrives to the moment it is finished, marking every point where someone has to remember something the system should hold. That map is usually the first time the whole workflow has been visible in one place, and it settles most of the scope argument on its own.

The situation

Customers have to understand your internal complexity before they can get value. Support fills the gaps the product should handle.

A service that is genuinely complex cannot be made simple by hiding the complexity. It can be made simple by sequencing it: asking one question at a time, in the order the customer can answer, and carrying the consequences forward so nothing has to be explained twice. We work from the real policy and the real edge cases, because a journey designed around the happy path breaks on contact with the exceptions that support currently absorbs.

The situation

The legacy system still runs the business, but every safe change takes weeks and nobody wants to touch the fragile parts.

The valuable part of a legacy system is the accumulated business logic, and it is rarely written down anywhere else. A rewrite that starts from a clean specification tends to rediscover those rules the expensive way, in production. We work the other direction: isolate the rules that still earn their place, put them behind an interface, and move traffic across one slice at a time while the old system keeps running.

How we approach it

We isolate the valuable rules, replace risk in stages, and keep the operation moving while the new core earns trust.

The situation

Experienced people spend their week copying data, checking statuses, and repairing exceptions between systems.

Automation fails when it tries to remove the judgement instead of the typing. The predictable steps — moving data, checking a status, formatting the same report — belong to the system. The decisions that need context belong to the person, and the system's job there is to present the exception with everything needed to resolve it in one pass, rather than sending an alert that starts an investigation.
